We like:
Sturdy, fitness-friendly design with fun chrome accenting and cool, rocking faceplate controls; useful features, such as a talking stopwatch and an armband; FM tuner and miniSD slot for memory expansion; surprisingly robust bass response through a solid set of earbuds
We don’t like:
Sporty, over-the-ear-style ‘buds won’t fit every user; screw-on battery cover offers extra protection from sweat, but we didn’t like having to remove it to access the USB port; rated battery life is also unimpressive
CNET.co.uk judgement:
Fitness freaks will appreciate the sports-minded Philips PSA235, but they’ll have to pay a premium for it
