MobileWhack report from CES 2006 that Axion have released another player, this time the AXN-6072 portable DVD player:

Axion’s latest innovation was unveiled by it at CES ’06, it announced a new product called the AXN-6072. The AXN-6072 is a 7″ LCD TV/DVD player. It is a dual-screen portable LCD product enabling user to utilize this feature by watching the DVD on one screen and playing video games on the other.

CES 2006: MobileMag report that Axion are to release two new portable media players this week:

Axion is all set to announce the launch of its first line of portable media players. Axion will launch two portable media players the AXN-9250 and AXN-9350 adding to its large product base of portable entertainment products designed and manufactured to provide pure “Entertainment Excellence.”

There is not much to distinguish between the two models, the only notable change being visible is that AXN-9250 is equipped with a 2.5” TFT LCD screen whereas the AXN-9350 is equipped with a 3.5” TFT LCD screen with all other specs remaining the same. Both these models have SD Card support and integrated lithium-polymer batteries.

MobileWhack reported the upcoming Axion AXN-6042 portable DVD player will be on show at CES 2006:

At CES 2006 Axion will be showing of a new portable DVD player called the AXN-6042, it looks more like a portable CD player than a portable DVD player. You’ll find a high resolution 4.2 inch LCD screen on the cover of the top loading player.

The AXN-6042 includes a built in Axi-Port which allows the player to connect to a TV tuner or a Sega game pad. Other features include stereo A/V output jack for supporting an external television set, built in stereo speakers, AC/DC adapters, kickstand for desktop use, and two stereo Hi-Fi headphone jacks.

I4U News reports the availability of the interestingly designed Axion DVDMan AXN-6042 Portable DVD Player

Axion offers a very compact portable DVD player with the Axon DVDMan AXN-6042.

The AXN-6042 features a 4.2 inch TFT screen with a resolution of 320×234 pixels. This portable DVD player resembles a portable CD player. This portable player can also play music CDs.
Other features include: stereo speakers, dual headphone jack, car and home power adaptors and Axion extension port.
Via the Axi-port a Sega gaming joystick and a TV Tuner can be connected.
